The world is conspiring against me.
Also, I tried to make bubbles for bubble tea and wow, was that ever a spectacular failure! They may have been the wrong type of bubbles to begin with, since mom picked them up for me and neither of us knew exactly what I needed. In the end, I had a pot full of clear, thick GOOP. Ugh, it was nasty and paste-like. And an hour of preparation is not anywhere near worth the effort. I could drive to the nearest tea place and back by that point. :P
